About The Oak & River Retreat
At The Oak
&
River Retreat our primary focus is wellness orientation, with an emphasis on active personal participation. We are the facilitators - you do the healing. We are rooted in the age-old wisdom of Hippocrates who said: "The natural healing force within each one of us is the greatest force in getting well".
The name for our Retreat is name based on a 300 year old oak tree that overlooks the property and the river that flows by it. The Oak and the River, in all their splendor, emit energy that transcends time and space.
No Limits
Most people experience some partial relief as a result of the techniques we practice. However, the healing process is highly individualistic and results vary a great deal from person to person, even for treatment of the same conditions. To quote Alain Herriott:
"
I don't know if this [referring to a medical condition] is possible to heal, but I am willing to see what will happen."
The Oak exudes power and permanency. There is place next to the river from which one can view the Oak in all its splendor. The Oak could very well last another 300 yearrs.
